How to tie your belt!
Rank Requirements
Please note: These requirements are for general guidelines only and may vary. We usually base our rankings according to personal student progress and the forms that a student has learned. Weapons forms are usually "optional" except for the Shaolin Broadsword form. Weapons forms are taught at specialized classes (to be announced, and usually held on friday evenings or Saturday afternoons).
Each color rank has 4 levels within the rank: 1st level, 2nd level, 3rd level and 4th level. After earning a 1st color rank, 2nd, 3rd and 4th level stripes are awarded as the student learns their requirements.
