**  YELLOW BELT
For White belts getting ready for Yellow belt:

Stance Drill
Monkey 1 & Concentration 1  

White belt notes:
Children White belts are eligible for 1st yellow belt after they learn all 7 basic hands, 7 basic kicks, 7 basic stances and Monkey 1.  Concentration 1 is required for 2nd level yellow belt. 

Adults are required to have Stance drill, Monkey 1 & Concentration 1 to attain Yellow Belt.

Required knowledge:
Knowledge and good performance of the basics and forms. Know what "Kajukenbo" is and what martial arts Kajukenbo is developed from.
Basic self defense against two hand grab, front kick and straight punch, know what style Eskrima/Kali we do, basic falling techniques (back fall, side fall, front fall).

Drills:
4 count drill; solo and with partner (when possible)
Stages flow drill; solo and with partner (when possible)
Basic Eskrima stick drills
Triangle footwork variations: "female triangle"
1 step drills: block/parry and counterattack

** ORANGE BELT
Children yellow belts getting ready for 1st & 2nd orange, 3rd, 4th stripe
(Adults need all 4 forms to earn  full orange belt)

Monkey 2 & Concentration 2  
Monkey 3 & Concentration 3    

Orange belt notes:
Only monkey 2 is required to earn a 1st orange belt. 2nd, 3rd, and 4th orange belts would need to learn concentration 2, Monkey 3 and Concentration 3. Adult need all 4 forms to attain Orange belt.

Required knowledge:
All previous requirements, necessary form(s) for belt level, basic self defense, knees and elbows techniques, front roll, back roll.

Drills:
6 count drill; solo and with partner (when possible)
Stages flow drill; solo and with partner (when possible)
Concentration 2 knee and elbow flow drill
Triangle footwork variations: "male" triangle
Basic Eskrima stick drills
Basic Hubud-Lubid drills: with punch and with chop
Push hands drills: one hand basic circles
Carrenza: Shadowboxing with single stick

** PURPLE BELT
For Children upper orange stripes getting ready for purple belt and purple upper stripes:
(Adults need all 4 forms to earn a full purple belt.)

Monkey 4 & Concentration 4   
Monkey 5 & Concentration 5
Basic Staff form

Purple belt notes:
Juniors would need only monkey 4 to earn a 1st purple. Concentration 4 for 2nd purple, Monkey 5 for 3rd purple, and Concentration 5 for 4th purple.

Adult students need ALL 4 forms to earn a full purple belt.

Required knowledge: 
All previous requirements, necessary form(s) for belt level, intermediate self defense, intermediate Eskrima stick drills, basic sweeps, basic throws, joint locks and unbalancing techniques.

Drills:
6x6  count drill: include sweeps/unbalances
Push Hands drills: two hand basic circle, standard circle
Hubud-Lubid drills: switching sides, elbow and knee, downward pass.
Carrenza: shadowboxing with weapon (single stick, knife)
Intermediate stick drills

** BLUE BELT
For upper level purple belts getting ready for Blue belt and blue level stripes:
(Adults need all forms to be eligible for full blue belt)

Monkey 6 & Concentration 6  
Monkey 7 & Concentration 7 
Tumpai 1                            
Broadsword form

Blue belt notes:
M6 and C6 required for 1st level blue belt. Monkey 7 required for 2nd level blue, Concentration 7 required for 3rd level blue, and Tumpai 1 required for 4th level blue.

Adults need all 5 forms to earn a full blue belt.

Required knowledge:
All previous knowledge, basic hip throw, locks, leverages, sweeps. Intermediate movements in self defense


Drills:
6x6  count drill
Push Hands drills: two hand basic circle, standard circle
Hubud-Lubid drills: switching sides, elbow and knee, downward pass.
Carrenza: shadowboxing with weapon (single stick, double stick knife)

Intermediate stick drills
