Stand Strong Kids: Bully Proofing
Stand Strong Kids is a confidence-building and bully-proofing workshop program designed to help children feel safe, strong, and empowered in their everyday lives. Through age-appropriate discussions and interactive activities, kids learn what bullying really is, why bullies behave the way they do, and—most importantly—how to respond without fear or aggression.
The program focuses on building inner confidence, using a clear and calm voice, and setting healthy boundaries that discourage bullying before it escalates. Children practice body language, posture, eye contact, and communication skills that project self-belief and strength. Stand Strong Kids doesn’t teach kids to be a fighter—it teaches them to stand tall, trust themselves, ward off a bully, and handle difficult situations with confidence, courage, and effective communication.
This is NOT a martial arts class. Kids will learn about peer conflict readiness, personal power skills, self-advocacy skills, body movements to project a confident demeanor, and movements to ward off a push, shove, slap or punch. These workshops are designed to be one time events that are 1 or 2 hours long (depending on the age group. We offer sessions to kids groups, such as Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Church Groups, YMCA camp activities, Public and Private Schools, etc.
